So with the 2010 NFL Draft behind us and Free Agency coming to a close, it’s time for the NFL to hit a bit of downtime as players head into OTA’s and Training Camps to prepare for the upcoming season.

We have a few great things lined up to keep you going during the off season at NFL Down Under, but first we need your feedback and ideas to make sure this site becomes the ultimate resource for NFL fans in Australia.

Here is a rundown:

  • First of all the site is going to be making use of the new Facebook  features that allow you to login, like, comment and do other things throughout the site with your Facebook account. If you get errors connecting via Facebook just let me know and I will fix them up for you.
  • Secondly I am looking into opening a NFL Down Under store which will sell jerseys and other NFL merchandise. I am pysched about this idea as there isn’t really any great places to get NFL stuff in Australia without paying an arm and leg for it…or having to wait weeks and weeks for shipping.If you are interested in buying some jerseys or anything like that leave a comment and I will look into it.
  • Next up we are going to be redoing the NFL 101 section. We aim to be break down and explain how different parts of the game works from coaching schemes, positions, rules, penalties, and other stuff like that.If you have something you would like to know about the game leave a comment and we will write an article about it.
  • We will also be organising an NFL Down Under Fantasy League….so keep an eye out for that as I am personally looking forward to kicking everyones butt!
  • And finally we will be doing a weekly roundup of interesting news, links, videos, sites and other things that you might be interested in. The Weekly RoundUp article will probably be posted every Thursday or Friday so look out for it.

As you can see we have some great stuff lined up over the next few months but we need your help to keep it all going….so please leave comments or contact us on Facebook or in the Contact Form to let us know how we are going and lets get some great interaction going.

    First comment, been reading for a few weeks.

    I’m currently looking into the feasability of ordering a jersey from the NFL and even a single replica jersey comes to US$230 after shipping!

    I’ll be signing up for the fantasy league.

      Yeah some of the pricing is unbelievable. I would be looking into getting replicas so hopefully some more people are interested.

      Looking forward to the Fantasy league…might even chuck in some prizes for the winner!
