
In is time at Collingwood, Sav Rocca was one of the most successful goalkickers in the AFL. In a career which spanned 14 years he ranked 13th in the AFL All Time Goal Kicking records and was famous for his long accurate kicks which ultimately led him to a career in the NFL.

Rocca tried out for the Buffalo Bulls in 2006 but was not invited to their Training Camp. After some tryouts and a good training camp, Rocca beat out current punter Dirk Johnson and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007 becoming the oldest rookie in NFL history.
In his time in Philadelphia Rocca has won a NFL Special Teams Player of the Week award, kept his starting position and played in the 2009 NFC East Conference Championship game.
